It’s a strong fit for organizations that don’t need Teams included in their base plan, but still want modern collaboration and Copilot-powered productivity.

What Business Basic (no Teams) includes

• Web + mobile Office apps: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook (web/mobile only; no desktop apps).
• Custom business email ([email protected]) with built-in spam/malware filtering.
• 1 TB cloud storage per user with OneDrive, plus SharePoint for secure file sharing and team content.
• Helpful business apps (e.g., Bookings, Planner, Forms, and more).
• Copilot Chat (web-based) is included for eligible business subscriptions, providing an AI chat experience grounded on the web.

• Note: This “no Teams” version excludes the Teams service/app from the plan.

What “Copilot 365” adds (Microsoft 365 Copilot for Business)

With the Microsoft 365 Copilot add-on, Copilot becomes available across Microsoft 365 apps to help users:
