Sophos MDR Complete is a 24/7 fully managed threat detection, hunting, and response service where the Sophos MDR Operations team doesn’t just alert you — they actively contain and fully neutralize attacks on your behalf, with a dedicated incident lead guiding the entire response. It’s built for organizations that want SOC-level coverage without building and staffing a SOC internally.

What’s included (software + platform)

• Sophos Central management portal for visibility, cases, reporting, and service settings
• Sophos Endpoint Protection with XDR (“Sophos XDR”) on the endpoints/servers you want Sophos to fully respond on
• Optional Sophos XDR Sensor for additional telemetry/visibility (used in some deployments)

• 24/7/365 monitoring, triage, investigation, and response
• Analyst-led threat hunting (proactive searches for attacker behaviors and indicators)
• Threat containment & disruption (e.g., isolation / kill malicious processes / block indicators where possible)
• Remote incident response for active incidents, including:
• Dedicated Incident Response Lead
• Investigation of scope and impact, timeline, and root cause
• Response actions to neutralize malicious access and stop damage
• Status reporting + action tracking, plus recommendations to prevent recurrence
• Direct call-in access to review cases/incidents with the MDR team

What’s also included across both MDR tiers (Essentials + Complete)

• 90 days of data storage standard (extended retention available as an add-on)
• Integrations with Sophos products and many third-party security tools (some third-party integrations require Integration Pack licenses)
• Microsoft 365 support at no additional cost for O365 Audit Logs and Microsoft Graph Security API visibility (subject to your Microsoft subscriptions)
• Optional add-on: Sophos NDR for network-level detection where endpoints can’t see

Breach Protection Warranty

MDR Complete includes the Sophos Breach Protection Warranty (included at no additional charge with MDR Complete), which can cover up to $1M in qualifying response expenses (terms/eligibility apply).
